Amber is the color of her energy

Here is my new roommate Amber:   She's from Utah (alumna of BYU and U of U, fortunately maintaining the delicate household balance). She is a botanist and works for the California Native Plant Society on a project called Rare Plant Treasure Hunt.  (Seriously- Annie is a professional Funmaster and Amber's job involves treasure hunts- no wonder the Casita is a happenin' place!) As if that weren't cool enough, she is my age, goes to church with me, likes to navigate in the car, dances like she's never been jaded, sneaks cups home to recycle them, banters wittily, has a sister that lives in England, and correctly used the word "fricative"  the other day.  She even beat me in Boggle, although I consider that a challenge, not a defeat.  Most importantly, she is attempting to grow something in the Garden of No Return- which is quite an accomplishment, if she can pull it off.  Expect updates from now until February to include a lot of Amber-colored energy.
