So thanks for coming along on my little UK trip this week. So far, it's been quite a ride.
I had a completely uneventful plane ride, ending in meeting my delightful friend Rebecca in London. She lives there and just finished a graduate program in theatre arts. We stayed in her flat the first night, which she was mostly moved out of already. Then we took the last of her stuff to storage, turned in her keys, and officially became nomads. We equipped ourselves as such, with a GPS and a rental car and packages of Ginger Creams. Now we are ready to see the world!
We started out with a visit to the world of 1952 London, watching the longest running play in the world, Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap. I'd tell you about it, but the audience had to swear not to reveal the ending, so you will just have to read the story yourself.
Today, we stopped off in Canterbury to see abbies from old times; passed through Greenwich, the self appointed keeper of time for the world; and visited the London temple, where time is completely irrelevant.

Dover was a pleasant surprise, with an enormous castle, the famed white cliffs, and the cutest little B&B. More on that later. Tonight, sleep- tomorrow, we're headed to France!
